I received a very welcome call from Mr Thomas. He described the findings from my CT scan and gave me full reassurance that the findings were not a concern. The call has really helped me. It was so helpful not to travel to a hospital or surgery to have the same conversation we had on the phone. I was diagnosed with renal cancer and small tumour in my bladder on 24th March after a consultation with Mr Thomas and because of the current pandemic he decided to operate the next day. It was all very fast but Mr Thomas was reassuring and throughly explained everything to me. I had the operation and the next day I was back home being nursed by my wife. I have just had a video consultation today with Mr Thomas and all good news. I can't thank him and his staff enough very professional and make you feel so at ease. Thank you so so much Lee Doble

Mr Thomas was direct and informative about my symptoms and the operation required to correct things. Following the consultation and my acceptance of the necessity of having my left kidney removed, we agreed a timescale and it was totally kept to. The operation was carried out early on Day 1(08.01.2020), I was in the Kent & Canterbury Hospital for the following two nights and on Day 3 following a review with Mr Thomas was allowed home with all the necessary medication and advice. My recovery has gone well and I had my "sign off" consultation today (26.03.2020) 11 weeks after the operation. Thank you Mr Thomas and the wonderful NHS.

On the two occasions I had meetings with Mr Thomas, one to explain the findings of a CT Cologram, the surgical procedures that would take place, the second, to explain how the procedure went. On both occasions, I/we found Mr Thomas very pleasant, professional, informative, caring and comforting. All questions were answered satisfactorily, in terms we were able to understand. Looking back, I can't think of any areas which require improvement. Bearing the sad news of the findings and the successful outcome, all very good on Mr Thomas's behalf.
